Monarch Recruitment are working with a large public sector body, who are looking to recruit a Strategy and Governance Manager on a permanent basis - Paying up to £65,000 per annum (max budget) - Locations are dotted around the UK from North Manchester down to Gloucestershire, however no locations are near or based in London. You will be required to occasionally work on site, so you must be flexible. (Hybrid)
The Strategy and Governance Manager is responsible to the Head of Security Strategy for the definition and timely and effective delivery of the companies information security strategy. This will consist of the following:- The assessment of information security capabilities and performance across the organisations and the supply chain
- The information security governance and reporting framework, which includes performance metrics, learning from experience and incidents.
- Leading small team
- Experience defining and implementing information security strategy
- Implementing information security governance processes
- Delivery of business improvements through the application of information security and supporting business cases
- Managing conducts of audits for IS capabilities and monitoring of compliance
- Report Non-compliance's
- Support the production of information security requirements for 3rd parties
- Contribute to information security incident policy and incident management procedures.
